[meteorite-list] How to search for New York meteorites in Catalogue

Hi Tom, Martin and List:

 

Tom was wondering how to query the Catalogue of Meteorites CD for

New York finds.  Here's the secret:  for the state, type "New York"

with the quotation marks.  The query will find 12 entries:

 

Bethlehem

Burlington

Cambria

Lasher Creek

Mount Morris

Peekskill

Schenectady

Scriba

Seneca Falls

South Byron

Tomhannock Creek

Yorktown

Hi Tom,

I tried everything I could think of but with no joy. The NY rocks are in there, but the software just won’t register “New York” in the query.
