I thought it was a kinda cute idea. I didn't buy one, but I neither needed the Beanie Baby nor any of the meteorites. Are orchids cheapened if you buy one as part of a mixed bouquet at the grocery store rather than through a florist? It was a clever marketing ploy, and might have introduced a Beanie Baby collector to a new hobby.
