The Honolulu fall (1825) fell into Honolulu harbor and its surrounds. A
couple of fragments fell on (near?) the deck of a Russian ship that was in
port at the time, and went home with it. Others were picked up from the
dock area, and over a strewnfield extending back from the water's edge.
Presumably, at least a few found a watery home at the bottom
of Honolulu harbor, although finding them today would be difficult and
nasty! Some others reportedly fell into Nuuanu Stream, which empties into
the harbor. I don't know if any still are in the stream bed today, or if
they were all recovered and carted away.
