Hi all - My initial scepticism of the Rio Cuarto team's work was unfounded - it is rigourous, and it does show that the Rio Cuarto depressions were not caused by oblique impact -
This leaves us with the tasks of finding signs of 2 separate impacts - the one that created the Argentinian glasses, and the other which set most of South America on fire in proto-historical times.
