Bonjour  Christian, Hello all,

Yes, Hainaut is a french meteorite. This meteorite fall in november 1934 at 60 meters from the border, in France.   The press says that another  fragment would be fall in a field near Gerpinnes. A Gerpinnes police patrol  would have seen it fallen, but did not find it.    You can look this meteorite at : http://users.skynet.be/meteorite.be/HAINAUT.html

Concerning the last candidate meteorite, under studies, recoverded in december 2001: I go to the finder this week-end for specify circumstances of fall or find,  know the date and the time, coordinates, etc....

For the collectors  who will go in Einsisheim, I will present all  Belgian meteorites known at our table. (sorry, no trade and not for sale...   just looking it)

Best regards,

Vincent JACQUES
