I've just started collecting and have been wondering what sort of machinery is needed to slice samples up. It amazes how smooth and polished the finish that the pieces I'm buying are and just wondered if any experts can tell me what sort of machines are used and how long it takes.
Obviously not now but how much expense would I be looking at in the future if I did attempt to make my own slices ????
