Dear List Members, We have just finished a long term project which involved photographing many of the major pieces in the R.A. Langheinrich Meteorite Collection, and preparing them for our new online meteorite museum. This new and expanded museum section replaces our old Gallery of Classic Meteorites, and features nearly seventy world class specimens, including:
- Numbered Nininger and Huss stones and irons. - Large complete stones from witnessed falls such as Leedy, Modoc, La Criolla, Beardsley, Holbrook, Forest City, Pervomaisky, and Monze. - The main masses of Zag (b), Noyan-Bogdo, Dar al Gani 485, and Fairfield. - Sikhote-Alin, Henbury, and Canyon Diablo irons with natural holes, and many other unique items.
