With all of the discussion about and reviews of
favorite or useful meteorite related books, I missed seeing a book I have had
since it came out in 1968: Meteorites and the Origin of Planets, John A. Wood,
McGraw-Hill, NY,NY, 1968. I realize, of course, that the book is woefully
outdated, but, is anyone familiar with it, and care to give any opinions about
it? It's a book I have carried with me these many years and used to understand
something of meteorites as an introduction. I never see it referenced anywhere,
so, I wonder about it.
