Title: meteor photo
Hi:
 
It's an actual photo by the Russian Mir-19 crew.  At the time they were backed away from the Mir space station in a Soyuz spacecraft.  Full credit and explanation is hidden in the picture's caption -- click on the words "Pictured above."  The Astronomical Picture of the Day is a great site that I recommend  to all of you, and lots of information is packed into the links in the captions.

Who or what took this photo? I know it is not Hubble, I have a hunch it is a little too far away to be an astronaut in an MMU. How did they take this photo?
