I am sure we will all miss him.
I thought maybe, in about a month, I would get another cryptic e-mail from Dave trying to buying a piece of jewelry from me, without you finding out. And I was already looking forward to seeing both of you again in Tucson, and maybe finding the time to talk a bit longer. And now it won't be.
I looked through my pictures and I found this one, taken in February 2000, in Tucson, at the Birthday Party. I moved it to this address on my site, for all the list members who never had the occasion to meet Dave:
