Greetings Paul, Jim and List,

I have not as of yet read all of the responses to this issue, but I
agree completely with Mark's sentiments. This is truly a sad
situation and I also implore Jim and Paul to reconsider their
decision. I am not a big dealer nor neccesarly what might be
considered a big buyer, but rather just one of the many small
collectors and lovers of these magnificent "rocks from space".

Paul and Mark, I want you to know that your contributions to the
meteorite community have, as I'm sure you already know gone "above
and beyond the call". Your online magazine has been an irreplaceable
source of information and knowledge. It's loss, under these
circumstances is inexcusable. (I speak here to those "dealers"
responsible).

I've been collecting meteorites for a little over four years and have
for the last eight months been saving my nickels and dimes and
planning my first trip to Tuscon. Again, I'm not a "mover and
shaker", but, this being my first opportunity to be there, I plan on
flinging a considerable amount of $$ at the Tucson show and rest
assured, NOT ONE DIME of my hard earned money will be seen by any
dealer responsible for this tragic loss.

I apologize to the List if any consider this to be "off topic". In my
honest opinion this is about as ON TOPIC as it gets. There is about
to be a horrible loss to the meteorite community and once again egos
and agendas are at the very heart of the matter. This is truly a sad
affair.

Again I apologize for my ramblings but this whole thing really gripes
my ass. For the dealer/dealer's responsible, please see Mark's
comments for more complete details.

Steve
