Hello List, Our local college's Geology professor showed me a hand full of
Gold Basin meteorites he found. I don't know every thing, but I do know they
were all magnetite! I did not have the heart to tell him! : ( well any ways
I called him and was told that he was out identifying a possible meteorite
some one found in a small town out side of Kingman! This scares me! I am no
expert, not even close, but I think I am better qualified to identify
meteorites than our local professor. I am afraid if it is a new meteorite he
might be told it's not. How can you get the locals to come to you?
