Uh-oh! Cold beer!
No ice for me thanks!
I'll be arriving in Tucson on 6th February, so it's much too close for me to pass comment and expect to get away with it, but I did read an interesting piece of research recently. Apparently, several lone alcohol molecules and even small traces of flavor have been found in American beer! Unfortunately, no-one has since been able to dulicate these results ;-)
I'm just kidding. It's very nice really (served at room temperature).
Moving on rapidly.....
A couple of days ago, I picked up another large slice of the Estherville mesosiderite through museum exchange. I already have a 7kg slice in the collection and don't need two, so I'm putting this new slice up for trade offers. It weighs 3.32kg and measures approximately 12 x 12 inches.
A picture of it can be seen at http://fernlea.tripod.com/estherville3k320.jpg
It's also pictured on page 35 of Monica Grady's & Sara Russell's new book "Meteorites" (second edition).
If anyone would be interested in trading for this slice, please just drop me an email.
Cheers,
Rob.
