Hello List, I had the pleasure of meeting Steve at last years Tucson event. Since that time we have communicated several times shared photos and received many positive e-mails from Steve, both meteorite related and not, and I purchasd one of his Polar-Views,(a very neat little item that goes on my microscope to view thin sections in polarized light.), a tool I use often.
Steve Schoner is one of the nicest people in our community. I was very saddened to hear of his currant health condition. (It always seems as though the good guys get the bad end of everything). My thoughts and prayers go out to Steve and his family. Lets all hope that he makes a fast recovery.
