I've been collecting since 1983 and bought a lot of material from David New. He is one of of the nicest people I ever met! I've met him at his home and he has been here to Victoria BC in 1989, where I reside and we had a nice get together.
I'm starting on my "second collection" as my first collection with meteorites from 426 different locales is now at the Geological Survey of Canada (Rihard herd curator). I'm now starting a smaller collection as the other was far too big for me to curate it properly. I've made a good start with some fine specimens from many dealers on this list. Don't know whether that makes me a "new" or "old" collector. Guess "old" as I am now retired! Chris.
