I too would like to echo the sentiments of others
in the sorrow of losing Columbia. This mission has been closely followed by
myself and all of Melbourne. Certainly close to our heart. One of our local
Universities and High Schools were running an experiment during the mission on
the effects of zero gravity on spiders.
The 7 astronauts of STS-107 will always be
remembered for what they have given to the pursuit of human endeavour. May we
all think of the famailies that have been left behind on this terrible
day.
