Hi Joel and all,   If I'm not mistaken the largest main mass of a chondrite is Jilin at 1.9 tons. A total of 4 tons of fragments fell in China on March 8, 1976. I'm familiar with this as it's my "birthday" meteorite ;-) The largest achondrite main mass is the Norton County aubrite at 2360 pounds. It fell on February 18, 1948.
