Meteorite Display: In 2004 the Cascadia Meteorite Laboratory at Portland State University loaned the museum 52 meteorites in an exhibit funded by NASA.

...come see our "out of this world" Meteorite display prepared by the Cascadia Meteorite Laboratory of Portland State University. This display is full of amazing facts and specimens. There are several great pieces of space matter on display, including iron and stone meteorites. You'll have a chance to touch our amazing Gibeon Meteorite from Africa (so much iron in it, it feels cold to the touch!), and learn all about these intriguing, permanent "visitors from space".

"...a valuable chunk from the moon, a small piece from Mars, a variety of materials believed to have come from the asteroid Vesta and an iron meteorite that landed in Siberia a few decades ago. "

"...and collector and dealer Edwin Thompson of Lake Oswego, who has donated samples to the lab."

See the Museum as featured in SMITHSONIAN MAGAZINE ;-) !!!
