Hi Ruben and list, I have an old label (not dated) that I got with one of my Barbotan pieces. With the help of a nice French guy I was able to read the old writing. It says:
English translation: 9 inch diameter fragment, stone that made an explosion 7 or 8 years ago, close to Roquefort, at the Sessquit(?); it crunched a farm (smallholding) and made a 5 foot conical hole; killed the farmer and some cattle. BTW: Roquefort is a synonym of Barbotan Best, Peter 2011/11/20 Ruben Garcia <[email protected]>: > A nice list member just sent me this text in an email.
