Hello All,

I got my 6.5-gram slice of Carsten's (GIPO) unusual CK3 today
and what I observe surely blows my socks off. What a meteorite!

Here are some features that make my slice a true highlight:

- light-colored chondrules have seams of finely dispersed sulfide and magnetite
- darker chondrules with thick rims (CKs usually are without such rims)
- darker chondrules sulfide-rimmed (with occasional FeNi blebs)
- sulfide and FeNi even in chondrule interiors
- extraordinary chondrule sizes (up to 3.25 mm) CK chondrules usually ca. 1 mm!
- more than just traces of FeNi metal
- extremely sulfide-rich (pentlandite)
- moderate silicate-darkening
- contains CAIs

Thank you, Carsten, for this rare carbonaceous beauty!

Bernd
