Oh yeah, and I examined that one for radar signatures but didn't find anything. The closest radar was down for maintenance (or something) at the time. Of course.

Dear List,
My post on April 3 about the Texas 11:50 am daytime event pointed out early on that the video
was of a jet and contrail. Fox News cannot even get the date right; they wrote April 4. There are
NO such thing as "APRIL FIREBALLS" as NASA is reportedly calling them (last year Mr.
Cooke was calling them "Spring Fireballs").
My report from April 3 (actually US 2APRIL) with more than 60 sighting
reports:

Hi Jim,

Don't know if you saw Marco Langbroek's post a while back
commenting
on the video shown during that newscast. That is NOT a
fireball. It
is a jet and its contrail. And as Marco pointed out, it is
embarrassingly
obvious that it is a jet. Makes me sad for our country. It's
really no
surprise we are 25th in the world in math and science. Or
perhaps it
*is* a surprise ... that we're that high. :-( --Rob
