Hi List, An update on the ongoing Sutter's Mill meteorite hunt. New stones continue to be found and the official main mass may soon change to something almost twice as big as the current defacto main find.
As of this writing, the approx. unofficial TKW - 310.98 grams. I have heard reports of several more finds, but the finders wish to remain anonymous, or they have elected to withhold the announcement of their find. But, even taking those nameless finds into account, there is still just shy of .5 kg of material recovered. Good luck to those on the ground hunting, and may the rain stay away. Best regards.
