Hello list, I am still unsure of what qualifies a meteor to be a fireball. I saw a good one tonight. It was about 3 times as bright as Jupiter, yellowish in color but the strange thing was it did not really leave a trail, maybe a short one right behind it but it was so short you could not notice it. Why is that?
