I offer here a 22.15g endcut of the new martian meteorite NWA 6963. The pyroxene compositions are similar to the pyroxene compositional trends in the Shergotty martian meteorite, and this new shergottite is close too in term of mineralogical structure (looks-like Shergotty) : http://www.lpi.usra.edu/meetings/lpsc2012/pdf/1696.pdf The endcut is perfectly polished (flat, no saw mark, polished to 1200 ! ), have an oriented shape, and as you can see on the pictures, lips of crust (4.1cm long in total, yep !)...
