I agree that the people of the Saharan Desert deserve to be honored with a piece of meteorite nomenclature. The residents of the Sahara have done much to advance the science of meteoritics. They deserve some official recognition. Scientific nomnenclature is largely an anglo-dominated affair peppered with words from dead classical languages. That should change with the times.
