Hello, Gang! Just a quick note to let folks know that each BLM districts have
Resource Advisory Councils. Usually
each district has a 10 member panel. These members are selected by the district
field office from locals that send
in an application for nomination, to a post that will serve as an advisor, to
the BLM for a term of 3 years. If someone
wants to have a say-so as to what happens in his or her district, might look at
applying for one of these positions.
You, also, can look at who is serving as an advisor in your district and when
their term ends. For me in Northwest
New Mexico, I went to www.blm.gov/nm/racs Our office has 3 positions opening
soon. In any case one can submit an
application or bend an ear of one of your district members.  Hope everyone is
fever free and having a Great time
in Tucson!!!!!  Happy B-Day Geoff and Steve!!!
