Dear list members,
today I would like to offer a few pieces of the famous and absolutely
unique
achondrite NWA 7325, from which scientists believe that it could be the
first sample of the planet Mercury. I think the topic is already well
known
and it is probably not becessary to write here a lot about it. For all
interested people,
I've collected some links below with some general information and also
some
pros and cons about the Mercury connection of NWA 7325. Let me point out
that the research of NWA 7325 is still relatively in the beginning, so
certainly more interesting reports will follow.
Without doubt, NWA7325 is a meteorite of one of a kind, something like
that
was never found before. And between the many extremely rare meteorites
I've
discovered in over 10 years, this one is the absolute rarest, rarer than
any
Lunar or Martian meteorite. Not only the rarest, but also the most
beautiful. People who got a piece of it, could not believe their eyes and
never thought that a meteorite could look like this. It is an absolutely
amazing find, and it was for several weeks subject in the news around the
world, from NBC, CNN to Sky &Telescope.

Please email me off-list if your are interested in a piece of NWA 7325. I
then
will give your further information about available pieces and their sizes.
Best regards,
Stefan Ralew

Hello Hello
?
Awhile back a few members in the meteorite community?brought the attention
of Jorge AKA (galeriacores) from ebay on?his activities of doing a switch
out with an OUM Dreyga and trying to sell it as a?Chelyabisk meteorite. I
bet the OUM Dreyga isnt even a OUM Drega, but a normal NWA stone.
?
However, not sure that many people know this, but Jorge has changed his
name to space-mets on ebay.
?
If you click on the links down below?where he was caught red handed trying
to switch out the OUM Dreyga as a Chelyabinsk under the ebay?name
as?galeriacores, you will see those auction are now?associated with his
new name, space-mets, please look at link down below.
?
?
Oum Dreyga link: http://tinyurl.com/czowu6y?this auction was POSTED Jan 25
2013 well before the Feb 15?2013 fall were?he uses the same photos to try
to sell it off as a Chelyabinsk meteorite in the link below.
Chelyabinsk link:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/321081034359?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_...
?
?
In addition to those two auctions, here are more past ebay auctions where
he was trying to pass off meteorites as lunar meteorites.
http://meteorite-identification.com/ebay/SSeller/galeriacores/22080...
http://meteorite-identification.com/ebay/SSeller/galeriacores/22080...
http://meteorite-identification.com/ebay/SSeller/galeriacores/22080...
http://meteorite-identification.com/ebay/SSeller/galeriacores/22080...
?
Now under the new name space-mets, Jorge is selling meteorites that are
from Chile, which they arent.
?
one of his auctions says this in the title...
?
Rare ATACAMA find METEORITE, 541gr with a non polished window to view
inside
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-ATACAMA-find-METEORITE-541gr-with-a-non-polished-window-to-view-inside-/321110464121?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ac3acd679
?
There is no meteorite from Chile that is associated with the name Atacama
find, and all the meteorites from Chile have a name, but not that one.
Again, Jorge space-mets ebay handle and was??galeriacores before he
switched it out his name,?is selling misrepresented meteorites, and
continues to do this without caring for the well being of the meteorite
community.
?
He is also selling XXX NWA meteorites as.....
?
Big and Heavy individual Algerian Tindouf 1285.2gr Meteorite Rock stone
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Big-and-Heavy-individual-Algerian-Tindouf-1285-2gr-Meteorite-Rock-stone-/350772743371?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item51abaf4ccb
?
If you have bought items from in the pass, I would?suggest you looking
into the authenticity, put it to the side and also inform other members of
what?he?continues to do on ebay and else where. And lastly, people that
say, only buy from IMCA members, there are great dealers and sellers that
arent IMCA members and have world class reputations. But we can do is be
informed of this individual and keep reporting him to ebay and also
communicating with other?members in the meteorite community about his
behavior and let me people know that they need to think twice before they
buy something from him.

List,
A new video has been found of the Argentina Bolide 21APR2013. Body of at
least 1 ton and there should be meteorites on the ground from the event!
The Argentina newspaper quoted a local astronomer and he said it was the
size of a potato ....LOL!!!

Hello list members,
If you enjoy collecting historic, rare achondrites that are nearly
impossible to obtain then here is a gem for you to add to your collection.
I am selling the 15 gram display specimen of Serra De Mage from the museum
collection at the I.O.M. This has always been the hardest to get of the
four 'holy grail' meteorites from Brazil. For those that don't already
know the four holy grail meteorites are; Angra Dos Reis, Governador
Valadares, Ibitira and Serra De Mage. I have not had the heart to break up
this stone so it remains as it was for many years on display at U.N.M.; a
quarter stone with the collection catalog number painted on it. This is a
strange and beautiful eucrite like none other I have seen. And the fusion
crust is like smoke tinted glass so translucent the one can see right
through it to the matrix beneath. There is only this one piece and it is
costly. Contact me off list if you have interest.
Thanks,
Edwin
