Nice image, Jim. Thanks for sharing.
I'd like to get a sky cam set up here in Torrey, Utah.
Last night we had monsoon clouds, but tonight it's clearing out for the show.
Time to head out to the lounge chair with a cup of coffee. :^)
Good luck to all!

Hi All!

Hi All!
The Parker, AZ Sky Sentinel Allsky cam captured 51 events last night (8/12 UTC). I stacked all 51 captures into one image and posted it on my FB page as well
as here: http://pages.suddenlink.net/chondrule/8_12.jpg .
I've been stacking daily beginning 7/31 and will go a few more days and create a final image for the entire period. I think collectively, last night was as busy as
all the previous nights combined!
Enjoy!

PERSEID METEOR SHOWER: The Perseid meteor shower is intensifying as Earth
moves deeper into the debris stream of parent comet 109P/Swift-Tuttle.
International observers are reporting as many as 30 Perseids per hour
from dark sky sites, a rate which could triple on August 12-13 when the
shower peaks. Check http://spaceweather.com for updates and observing
tips.
