Hi everyone, As long as the list is all lively again, I've been wondering about all the broken Chelyabinsk meteorites. Would it be correct to assume that most are missing a chunk because they were damaged by the shock waves when the meteoroid exploded? It seems most fell in snow - poor man's aerogel - and likely wouldn't get chipped. Thanks for your ideas on the topic. -- Rock On!
