Interesting, I mistakenly thought that all of the arguments had moved onto Facebook. Why bring them back to the List? Facebook must be slow today.

It will be a long time before NWA 5000 retreats into the background, especially with a highly developed secondary market just now coming into play. The way I see it, buyers will have an entire Legendary NWA 5000 secondary market the play in now that the primary market inventory is nearly sold out. The same cannot be said for new lunar material that has been mismanaged and marketed as "lunar" meteorites since then.

A lot of dealers these days do not bother with formal classifications in an environment where self-pairing and piggy-backing have become the norm or take pride in material preparation. Up until very recently collectors had a handle on Total Available Weights on lunar material. Now, it is anybody's guess. Total disrespect and jealousy of those who still do it right.

Who knows...

Everyone else seems perfectly capable of including links in emails on the metlist without
"testing" the system; including Adam, who sends emails selling the exact same
meteorite (with links) on a weekly basis.

Yet suddenly he needs to test the system to make sure a link is working...?

Personally, I think the real motivation is just make sure everyone keeps
thinking about NWA 5000. We wouldn't want that meteorite to fall into obscurity
regardless of the near 7000 NWA classifications that have come along since it...

Enough out of me...

What?, there is nothing being advertised here. I needed to test a converted
link in plain text format. The link is to a an item that was in the process of
being manufactured which was sold years ago.
