Hi Tom/List -- I'm betting this was the reentry of 2017-056B: the Progress MS07 ISS resupply rocket body. It was predicted to reentry today (this evening) at 15:53 UTC +/- 2 hours. The ground track took it right over the Persian Gulf going northwest to southeast on its descending node. --Rob
