I have an anecdote. At the 1984 Meteoritical Society meeting in Albuquerque, there were scientific talks presented by Gary Huss, his father Glenn Hus, and his grandfather Harvey Nininger. This may be the only time that three generations of one family gave scientific talks at the meeting of a scientific society.
