My heart is broken. Dave was a man of integrity and for whom I have great respect. He has supported me in many ways. I've shared a beer and I've shared some tears with him. He stands as an icon in the meteorite community and a great family man.
Both Kat and I send our love and prayers to the Gheesling family, especially Maddie and Kasia. Dave was a truly genuine person and I am so grateful to have been his friend and a part of his life.
