Hi list ! Today we have an anniversary. The french meteorite Luponnas fell 250 years ago.
I am lucky to have a piece of this historical meteorite in my collection as it is the birthday meteorite of my son Michael which celebtrates today his 7th bithday. I got my 5.7g piece in trade with the NHM Vienna. Only 211.64 grams of this H3-5 black brecciated meteorite is preserved in collections. One of my best specimens in my collection.
