Hello List, I have a question relating to the posts concerning the possible "Martian meteoroid stream". Would fragments of the original impacting asteroid ALSO be mixed in with this stream of Martian material? Or does the dynamics of such an impact dictate that ONLY material from the larger body can be accelerated to escape velocity, while the impacting object is either "completely" vaporized, or scattered across the face of the larger body?
