Hello Jose and List,   In a perfect world you should be able to simply email the NomCom with updates and they would be added to the TKW but it does not work that way.  They do print corrections in the Meteoritical Bulletin if properly submitted and the committee feels it is important enough to publish.  Some problems are how would they be able to tell they really are paired without coordinates to the find?  Since there is a considerable amount of new material to study and deadlines to pursue, how can scientists devote the time to report every suspected pairing when there is so much unreported material that needs to be announced?  The laboratories are overwhelmed so it will be some time before the pairing situations are resolved.     We feel it is up to the dealers to report pairings to collectors when there is little doubt.  We have been burned a couple of times thinking we had the largest specimen from a particular find just to have a bigger piece show up.  These problems continue to be discussed so hopefully solutions will present themselves in the future.  By the way, several scientists are working in collaboration to figure out pairings and TKWs for the new Mesosiderites.   All the best,   Adam Hupe          ----- Original Message ----- From: Jose Campos To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, November 22, 2003 9:56 AM Subject: Fw: [meteorite-list] NWA 984 TKW Hi Hupes and List,   I thought that, for a new meteorite to be given an official NWA number (or name), as part of the info to be supllied, would be to inform the know TKW at the time when it was found - and that later on, this amount could be updated if necessary,  as more info would come in?
