Ah but these are not your garden variety public golf courses Tom. These are some of the most prestigious, private, members-only clubs in the country which is why no one has been on them. The most important club, Olympia Fields, hosted the 2003 US Open only two months after the Park Forest fall (this, it would seem, was probably everyone's best chance to get in). They did not reply to 3 private letters offering various appeals to thier sensibilities.
