Hello List, I am curious, men mistook meteor crater for a volcanic vent for years and even today we have to look for signs before we can call an impact crater an impact crater. How come we are so confident about the identification of impact craters on Mars vs. volcanic vents from pics with out seeing any evidence of impact? Or am I missing something, again?
