Sometime back, someone (MexicoDoug?) asked where one could
get access to the Viking Mars images, I don't recall any
replies (but then it could just be me), so...
Most of the Viking Orbiter images from 1976-1980 at:

Since there are thousands of such images, here's a
zoomable and scrollable atlas of Mars, showing the locations
(footprints) of thousands of high-resolution Viking Orbiter
