As a general policy, using HTML formatted emails is not desired on the meteorite list as these kinds of posts are usually larger and are the vehicle thru which many email-based virus programs can act. While I won't suspend an account for the occasional HTML posting (heck, I do it by mistake from time to time), I do keep an eye out for consistant HTML posts as they can cause problems. So, as a rule of thumb, set your email program to send text-based messages.
