Norbert & Heike Kammel,
No, this is was not said on the auction, this was
only told to the list as a comical response to Ken O'Neill's
comical question;
"Are you sure they caused the craters ? they seem
a bit small to me ;-)"
I do not think that, and I do not expect anyone with a
brain to think it either! It was clearly a joke! Sorry I offended you! I
would never make such a claim on ebay, just to the list who I know, knows
better! If anyone else thought I was serious, NO I WAS JOKING WITH THE
LIST! Just so you all know, ; ) at the end of a sentence means your
kidding just like at the end of kens and my emails.

on ebay?
Tom,
sorry, Mate, I reckon you are going a bit too
far, saying:
All the other meteorites with the name Canyon
Diablo or Odessa are fakes, ....... Do you really believe
what you are stating? And this as IMCA member? Is that supposed to
be an authenticity statement?
From my point of view this is
not fun, it is simply false!
Best regards from DOWN-UNDER,

Yes,
they do seem a bit small, but from what I understand they started out
huge but never lost their cosmic velocity and by the time ablation was
through with them, all that was left was these two meteorites at a few
grams a piece. Even at just a few grams, with their
hypersonic velocities still intact these two little meteorites caused
the craters. Hard to believe! All the other meteorites with the name
Canyon Diablo or Odessa are fakes, these ARE THE TWO responsible! ; )
