These have been really great reading Mark. When one thinks of Nininger and
all that remains as a result of his work, it is easy to forget that he was a
lot like us. These letters are the emails we send today. Sales, trades,
friendships, investment opportunities, new info. Metlist 1950's style. In
fact, this Perry guy reminds me of Steve Arnold, Chicago a little bit with
giving away free meteorites and willingness to trade anything anytime.

Dear Mr. Perry:
Your wire came while Mrs. Nininger and I were taking a two-day vacation.
I want to get some photographs of the specimen but will get it off to you
within a couple of days.
If this meets your approval the price at 7 (cents symbol) a gram will be
$269.50.
Cordially,
(signed)
H.H. Nininger

P. S. I am considering some exchanges on the basis of your catalog and will
write you further when I have had time to complete the list.
