Hello Dave,
Dunite is not very common.  It is essentially an olivine rich peridotite.
Such rocks in Wyoming are almost always serpentinized, and are usually
classified as serpentinites.

I am doing some searching on the meteorite list and the topic of dunite came up as it is in a few meteorites and we have identified a few asteroids that seem to be olivine rich dunite's....
How rare is good quality dunite in the Rocky Mountains, and specifically Wyoming? Then, Wind River Range/ Green River Range?
