It also appears the car owner filed a police report.  The following is from the News Brief section, which appears to report all police reports, such as thefts, break ins, et al..

Meteorite damage. The rear window was broken on a car by two rock pieces among the meteorites that hit the area Thursday morning. The meteorites were found inside the vehicle in the 3400 block of Jennifer Court.

Hey List,

A quick note to mention that my wife put up on Ebay in 3 day auctions two interesting lots:

One is an actual fragment of the Park Forest meteorite that smashed through the rear window of Ed Grollemond's car.  With that lot is a fragment of the window glass, photos and a copy of the signed affidavit from both Mr. Grollemond and myself.

The other lot is the high bidder's CHOICE of one of the remaining letters from the "NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY" window sticker that was on the window of Mr. Grollemond's car.  The stickers are still adhered to sections of broken glass.

Both of these are great items to add to any collection.
