Hello list,

Stefan's R3-6 is very nice, if R chondrites interest you I suggest picking up a slice.  My sample shown in the link below, shows nice two distinct breccias and one area that appears metal rich?  Thanks for another interesting meteorite Stefan.

Could someone refer me to the weight of the R3-6 PCA 91002?  I have the weights of the other R3-6's above.

Subject: [meteorite-list] Ad- fresh R chondrite and new R3-6

Dear list members,

today I can introduce two new R chondrites to the meteorite comunity. At
first the possibly freshest R chondrite since Rumuruti with fresh black
crust and little flow lines (not paired with NWA753). The meteorite was
bought in Erfoud/ Marocco in spring 2004. We have tried to investigate,
whether there is still more material of this beautiful meteorite. But
there apparently isn't any further piece at the market. The meteorite is
classified as R3/4 with a weathering grade of only W1.

The second R chondrite (NWA2289) is a rare R3-6 with a total known
weight of 160 grams. The find consisted of four little stones. On my
website I offer some little slices (from $12 - $175) and one individual
of this nice brecciated meteorite.
