most other spacecraft havent been sent to anyplace with an atmosphere to speak of, so sound transmissions would be pointless as (conventionally speaking) sound doesnt exist without air to transmit it

Hi all.
Some real heavy weather just came through this way and
i was just thinking about all the equipment on all the
various spacecraft, probes and am wondering if there has ever been any audio
equipment included. Hearing the winds and weather i.e. lightening and thunder or whatever
on other planetary bodies would be pretty interesting as we are very tactile, our
senses, creatures. Wouldn't it be important or at least impressive to hear the weather on Mars, Titan etc.?
Thanks, Bill ______________________________________________ Meteorite-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://six.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list
