Hi All,
Something else I am wondering about with regard to the Genesis impact is the reliability of the Stardust sample return parachute which will deploy in January of 2006 over the same stretch of land.
Seems that the parachute deployment on Beagle on Mars was less than perfect. And the Mars Rovers had a late deployment of either their chutes or retros, enough to give a few folks indigestion.
Any thoughts? Ron B.?
