Dear Bob;
I think it tends to speak of one's personal character when one copies /borrows without favor/ out right furnishes  others' descriptions and doesn't cite the original source.
Lazy comes to mind....mentally lazy.  No, last I knew the ebay descriptions police didn't waste time on  small word thiefs.....'Wouldn't call it corrupt, just lacking mental character and personal motivation. Just the kind of 4.0 meteorite dealer we love to support during times of easy sales and great meteorite market activity, and thriving prices like we all experience today!
Poo-poo you.

Dear List,

To show you what kind of person Bob Evans really is here is an example
you
can check out for yourself. Bob took it upon himself not only to use
NWA
numbers we reserved and paid for the study of, he is actually copying
our
descriptions, word-for-word. Bob, these descriptions are the property
of
Meteoritelab, come up with your own DESCRIPTIONS!

Our Description and ebay link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3239&item=2268563957
NWA 1877, 850mg fragment of the second "Olivine Diogenite" in private

hands,

found 2003 in Northwest Africa. A weight of only 312 grams is recorded

for

this find. NWA 1459 the only other Olivine Diogenite available to the
public weighed a mere 49 grams. After cutting losses and type specimen
deposits there is less than 220 grams of this material left in private

hands

including NWA 1459. This material is believed to represent the deepest
sample, yet recovered, from the asteroid Vesta. A great deal of time
was
spent preparing this material. We used a penetrant stabilizer before
polishing even begun to prevent the large crystals from being plucked

during

polishing. This is important because the crystals have cleavages that
are
easily fractured during preparation. No less than 10 polishing steps on
a
diamond lap was needed to take these specimens to a 3,500 grit polish,
something you do not see everyday. This material is rarer than a
Brachinite, a Chassignite or even a Lodranite. Even though this is
number
two, it still represents the rarest of all classifications in private

hands,

there is nothing rarer!

for
any serious or new meteorite collector !

Not only is using NWA numbers that do not match his pieces he has stolen
several other descriptions and ideas from us, he is a complete fraud.

Check

out his other auctions and compare.

All the best,

Adam Hupe
