Dear List, Probably one big difference is the lack of night lighting there! The desert at night even around small cities is awesome dark sky! Lot of people hoping to get a meteorite too! It's like a lottery find! So many of us sit in the house in front of the boobtube, how can you hope to see a meteorite, let alone find it. However, a lot of cell phones to triangulate and bingo, more falls, finds! Also less vegetation to look through. It all adds up!! Thanks Nels
