Chute de m�t�orites dans plusieurs douars de la r�gion de Benguerir.
Une m�t�orite de 8 kg est tomb�e lundi dernier au Douar Al Foqara', et une
vingtaine d'autres, pesant quelque 20 kg, au Douar Tnaja. Selon des sources
locales, () ces chutes ont creus� un crat�re d'environ 2 m�tres de
profondeur et ont �t� entendues � 50 km � la ronde. () Selon certains
habitants, il se pourrait que ces m�t�orites soient r�cup�r�es par des
individus convaincus de leur pouvoir magique, qui leur permettrait de
d�couvir des tr�sors. () Selon une source inform�e, le procureur du Roi de
la r�gion a donn� des instructions � la gendarmerie en vue de r�cup�rer ces
pierres.
Meteorites fell in several places in the Benguerir region. One 8 kg meteorite
fell last Monday at Douar Al Foqara' and about 20 others with a total weight
of
about 20 kilos at Douar Tnaja. Local sources said that the meteorite
produced a 2 m deep crater and that the fall was heard up to 50 km away.
Certain inhabitants know that certain meteorites were recovered by people who
are convinced that the meteorite has magic power and will
bring them to hiddden treasures. Informed sources said that the king of the
region has given
orders to the police to recover the meteorites.
